CALIFORNIA: Girl Scouts of Orange County Hope to Exceed Last Year's Drop Off Day  Every Girl Scout makes a commitment, through the Girl Scout Law, to do her best to make the world a better place. The second annual “Caring Hearts, Helping Hands” project, launched this month by the Girl Scout Council of Orange County, will unite the community service efforts of thousands of Girl Scouts who want to make Orange County a better place to live by teaming up with Binky Patrol.

Crawfordsville Bink-A-Thon 2002 Was A HUGE Success! Angela Largent Our Bink-a-Thon was absolutely wonderful. We had 37 volunteers, a clown and a delivery of flowers. These ladies worked their hearts our, breaking only for a very short lunch time, plenty of food was donated by local restaurants. Most of the tops used were the ones made by the local nursing home residents. We had plenty of supplies furnished by a lot of different sources. We did not want for a thing. The grand total finished for the day was 361!!! Yes, it surprised me too. My van was full top to bottom, front to back. If you will look at the pictures, we had two tables set up for finished items, you can see how they were STACKED. Every one had a wonderful time. And so did I. Click the headline for photos.
