Caldwell TX Chapter Closing After 21 Years
After 21 years, our Caldwell, TX Binky Patrol chapter is closing in October. Rita Blidt has led this chapter through so many ups and downs, including the pandemic. Her heart will be missed, but her eyes are betraying her and it's tough to keep it going.

We were all affected by the tragedy in Uvalde. Binky Patrol sent hundreds of blankets to the entire community as our only way to help during their time of grieving. Grieving doesn't end. The Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas has a grand opening happening and we are sending love from around the country.

Chapters across the country will be teaming up with Mr. Ballen for a national Bink-A-Thon to make as many blankets in a day to benefit victims of violent crimes.

Court-Ordered Hours Change Lives
You’ve heard it on the news and in the classroom; “get out there and help your community.” But sometimes, “getting out there” is easier said than done. Many of us have people and things to care for within our own homes, and can’t always run the charity marathon or volunteer at the library. If you’re like Samantha Hood, you still want to help others despite the needs keeping us home. And what better way to help others from the comfort of your home than by providing comfort to those outside your home. Simply put, Binky Patrol is an organization that changes lives, and you can help out from your couch. All you need is a pair of scissors and a few big pieces of fleece.

moreEasy Strip Pieced Blanket
This is our signature binky for events. Easy to cut, easy to sew. We typically cut 8 - 10 six inch strips and sew them together for a top. Then we cut a back larger. Putting batting in between to match the top and create a frame around the top.. Great fast beginner pattern.

Kids, teens, adults find themselves needing community service hours from time to time. This can be for school, a service organization, referral by a local judge - it doesn't matter. We look at it as an opportunity to expose an unlikely volunteer to Binky Patrol, and show them how easy it can be to make a difference AND meet community service requirements.
