Teen Donates 9 Binkies to Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House Charities  finds, creates, and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families.

Our cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House®, provides a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando.

Before the Ronald McDonald Houses, parents were sleeping in their cars or in chairs in the waiting room, eating out of vending machines, or bearing the expense of impersonal hotel rooms.

  • 60 percent of the families we serve come from our local area
  • We save families over $2 million in hotel costs alone every year.
  • When they can, families factor the Ronald McDonald House into their decision about where to bring their child for care.
  • Our not-for-profit hospital partners benefit from increased patient referrals and repeat visits due to patient satisfaction

 

What a wonderful thing to do! We are all proud of Erin and appreciate what she did to help comfort children and teens.
