New members are always welcome!
We also take donations of cotton fabric and yarn and even sewing machines and knitting needles.
No experience necessary, we will help you learn to quilt, crochet, knit, iron, sort fabric, fold quilts, or pin on labels!
Know of a Scout Group or 4H group that would like to help out? How about a high school student who needs service hours? Send them my way!!!
Please contact Marilyn if you are interested in helping out!

NEWS:
We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary by having a Quilt Day of course!
Read about it here
And here's a short video from the day
Women from NorthWinds Quilt Guild joined with Students from Vanden High School's National Honor Society to make quilts for kids. We are always looking for new members.
VACAVILLE — Vanden High School students chipped in Thursday afternoon to help make some
local babies and foster children a little warmer this winter. Click here for the article.
Japan Project:
We have just completed our Quilts for Japan project. Check out this video from Common Ground on KCRA Channel 3

We were able to make and collect 1,144 handmade quilts and blankets to send to Japan! Thank you everyone for helping us exceed our goal. A special thanks to Fed Ex for providing Free Shipping for all of these quilts.
We are now working to help the local children of Solano County. Can you help? We are collecting handmade quilts and blankets for babies to teens to give to NorthBay hospital, Child Protective Services and other organizations where kids need handmade hugs. You can drop them off at A Quilted Heart any time they are open. Please give me a call to let me know you have dropped something off so I can pick it up quickly.
Do you want to learn to quilt? Now is the perfect time!
