http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CVBinkyPatrol Kathleen Revoir, Area Coordinator; cvbinkypatrol@aol.com
We’re a small group determined to make a difference in the lives of children and/or teens that are in need of comfort, where ever and when ever we can. We are currently working in conjunction with "Kases for Kids" (lionskases4kids.com)...a non-profit, national organization that provides suitcases for children/teens that are in foster care. We are trying to make sure each of those children has a Binky to go into their very own suitcase. Most recently our efforts have gone towards the babies born to the Inmates of the two Women's Correctional Facilities in Chowchilla, California. We provide those infants with the warmth and coziness of a Binky to take with them where ever they may go. We are always in need of volunteers with helping hands and loving hearts. We also are happy to accept donations of fabric, batting, yarn, fleece or completed blankets. We meet the second Saturday of each month from 10-11:30 am at the Uncle Harry's Bagelry on Cedar & Shaw in Fresno, 4950 N. Cedar Ave., Fresno, CA 93726. If you know of any child who might benefit from one of our Binkies, please contact the area coordinator listed above. We are fast approaching having delivered 1200 Binkies as of January 2010!! ![]() ![]() Fresno Central Valley Binky Patrol Chapters first Binky recipients...
