Binky Patrol director, Carolyn Berndt had a fun time this afternoon with the teen boys of the National League of Young Men, greater Orange chapter. They spent the day making binkies and improving their scissor skills.
This is a great meeting event for any club, group of friends, afternoon of community service. They also were able to hone their scissor and tie skills. Thank you Carolyn for helping them get started!
Teen, Erin Snead, recently made and donated 9 binkies to her local Ronald McDonald House.
Our 10th year for this event in Beaverton, Oregon netted 150 blankets, despite the snow and ice of the week.
RANCHO CUCAMONGA - Regina Mendieta is helping needy children of the Inland Empire one blanket at a time.
Binky Patrol is an all volunteer national nonprofit that makes homemade blankets to children born with HIV, infected with AIDS or other chronic and terminal illnesses, those who are abused, in foster care or experiencing trauma of any kind.
Binky Patrol Director, Carolyn Berndt had a wonderful evening the other night hanging out with Girl Scouts from Irvine and making binkies. Chapter mascot, Shay the Therapy Dog was on hand to supervise the work.
The troop made six binkies in 30 minutes. They cut and tied their little hearts out. Thank you, Daisy Troop 2128!
We are about a year and a half after the big "Give a Day, Get a Day" campaign that Disney so generously offered. Out of their 1 million volunteers that signed up in order to get vouchers and show volunteerism spirit, 25,000 of those were just for Binky Patrol.
A successful Mother/Daughter binky-making event!
The four-year-old preschool classroom at the KinderCare Learning Center in Clifton Park, New York donated this beautiful quilt. The quilt was given to a 4 year old who is undergoing chemotherapy.

For the third year, St. Ann School (pre-K through eighth graders) held their own campus wide Bink-A-Thon. The students at the school ask "when will our Bink-a-thon be?!" starting the first day of school. Thank you to the wonderful parents, teachers and other staff at St. Ann who made this successful event possible.
