Barb Susi Botsko is the Monroe/Trumbull CT chapter’s mvp when it comes to supporting and promoting Binky Patrol.
No way their chapter was letting a heatwave get in the way of their making and delivering binkies locally!
REMINDER REGARDING STINKY BINKIES: We provide for children with delicate, serious health issues and they are our top concern. Because we cherish the precious lives of all our little patients, we strongly ask that you be mindful in your donations. Binkies that have intensely potent odors of smoke, pet, perfume and the like are not only harmful to the well-being of the children, they can worsen their sensitive condition by adding to their already fragile state. Please go unscented! It is our responsibility to provide the purest, cleanest comfort possible so that each child knows they are valued! We will not give tax receipts or community service credit hours for any Binky we deem unusable.
Over 500 binkies, boxes of clothing, toys, etc. were delivered to Shawnee Oklahoma in 1998.
The Lake Ashton Binky Patrol visited the Winter Haven Youth for Christ meeting on Monday Dec. 6th. This meeting has 15 girls from 12 to 17. These girls are sent to this group either by counselors from school or the court system.
When Mechanicville, NY Chapter Leader, Dayle Gruder learned of the Columbia disaster, this is what she wrote after speaking with Space Coast Binky Chapter Leader - Liz Casper of Cocoa Beach, FL:
"The binkies were made by the schoolchildren who drew pictures and helped sew and iron the rows. She needed 19 and I had 18. So, I got a donation for shipping from a
kind person (sic) in my state agency and sent them off. Did I tell you that my area's binkies are going to the Space Shuttle families? I was so saddened when I heard the news and it helped to be able to comfort the families. That's what this binky business is all about."
